How to order

ELECTRIC MOTORS FOR NPP CAN BE MANUFACTURED IN TWO VERSIONS:

  1. 1. for drive of armature, placed under protective cover of NPP reactor room (4АС80А5 motor);

    2. for drive of equipment, placed in “clean” premises and “dirty” boxes of NPP (AIR 80 А3, AIR 90 А3 motors).

    1. Electric motors manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications 16-510.610-76 are aimed for drive of armature, placed under protective cover of NPP reactor room and have technical characteristics mentioned in the table below:

    The motors are manufactured in IM3081 version by governmental standard GOST 2470-79. The motors are hermetic, manufactured entirely in cast iron housing, without self-cooling fan. Protective degree of these electric motors is IPX7 in accordance with governmental standard GOST 14254-96; along the shaft line from the side of free shaft end in bearing shield should be set sealing ring in accordance with governmental standard 8752-79 and additionally should be provided by mechanism while joining motor with electric drive.

    These electric motors are designed according to the first category of seismic stability (up to 8G in manufacturing sphere). Average life time is not less than 10 years with operating time of 100 hours per year. These electric motors are designed for operation in environment under protective cover and keep operability during such modes as "disfunction of heat-removal", "small" and "big" leak.

    2. Electric motors manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications 16-89 IAKF 525000.018 TU are aimed for drive of equipment, place in “clean” premises and “dirty” boxes of NPP (out of hermetic zone). Protective degree of these electric motors is IP55 in accordance with governmental standard GOST 17494-87, along the shaft line – IP44. These electric motors are designed according to the first category of seismic stability, for the regions with earthquake intensity up to 9 grade, seismic load with acceleration of 2d in the range of 2,5 to 50 Hz. Average life is not less than 20 000 hours. The motors are irreparable.
