Despite the war and the challenges of the times, HARP continues to develop
Press release
On November 1, 2025, the Kharkiv Bearing Plant (HARP) celebrated 78 years since its founding.
Despite the war and economic challenges, the company has not stopped working and continues to produce bearing products that provide Ukrainian industry, the railway sector, and agricultural machinery manufacturing with reliable and modern world-class solutions. HARP remains one of the leading bearing manufacturers in Eastern Europe and the only company in Ukraine that manufactures bearings for rail transport.
Today, the plant is in the process of preparing for restructuring, focusing on the rational use of resources, modernization of production, and improving energy efficiency. Despite the war, HARP ended 2024 with a profit and continues to gradually restore its pre-war production volumes.
The company pays special attention to the development of its own engineering school, the foundation on which HARP has stood for decades. It was this school that helped overcome difficulties during the most challenging periods. Even during the war, the plant's specialists are preserving the traditions of Ukrainian mechanical engineering, modernizing production processes, introducing new technological solutions, and designing modern products.
Currently, HARP is actively developing new types of bearings and technical solutions, investing in the development of engineering knowledge and competencies. This allows not only to maintain stable production dynamics, but also to form the basis for future growth after victory.
According to the management, HARP remains a symbol of the Ukrainian engineering school, combining many years of experience and a desire for renewal. The enterprise is operating as planned, and its main task remains to maintain stability, preserve the workforce, and gradually restore production capacity.
“Despite all the difficulties, we continue to move forward. Investments in knowledge and engineering traditions are what ensure the development of HARP today and lay the foundation for the restoration of Ukrainian industry tomorrow,” the company said. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
