HARP launched production of bearings for imported agricultural machinery

Within realization of the import substitution program, Ukrainian manufacturer continues to expand the range of bearing products for imported agricultural machinery. Since March, 2016 Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) has been launched a new line of pillow block bearing units and bearings for imported agricultural machinery of new generation.

In 2016 Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) is going to release bearings for agricultural machinery of such leading manufacturers as John Deere, Claas, Case, New Holland and others.
These bearings by their internal design are quite similar to the original - says Deputy Chief Designer of Ukrainian Bearing Industry Design and Technology Bureau (UKBT PP) Vladimir Fedorchenko. - But there are some differences. One of them is the tight sealing X-SHIELD, which consists of heat- and oil- resistant synthetic rubber seal and steel protective shield. Combination of these sealing elements provides protection against dirt, dust and moisture, as well as allows preserving grease in the bearing. Our bearings with X-SHIELD sealing operate effectively even in dusty environments, severe conditions of exploitation, don’t require any maintenance and have a longer durability".
Also the expert notes that another bearing’s advantage is its price, which is lower than price for foreign analogues and originals. "It should be noted that durability and quality of our bearing are not inferior to imported products", - says Vladimir Fedorchenko.

Since March 2016, HARP specialists has also began development and production of bearing units, which consist of high-quality UC bearings (480000) and housing made of high quality grey cast iron. The distinctive advantages of product are also the possibility of self-mounting, presence of the tight X-SHIELD sealing, as well as presence of grease cup to ensure a longer service life of units and maximum efficiency.
