QUALITY OF LOZOVA MACHINERY IS PROVEN BY NNAU FIELD TESTS

LOZOVA MACHINERY implements proved the tillage quality according to the tests on the fields of Nikolaev National Agrarian University (NNAU).

The university have used DINAR-6,4 rotary harrow earlier during the seeding season.

“We tested DINAR rotary harrow during seeding sunflowers, – Nikolay Karpenko, head of the scientific and research department of Science Institute of Innovative Technologies of NNAU, tells. – There were heavy rains in our region which caused the 1 cm crust on the fields. The implement successfully coped with its task and destroyed the heavy soil crust and thereby it saturated the soil with oxygen”.

 Nikolay Karpenko adds that the implement was tested in the inter-row seeding of the seed maize at 60 cm: “The harrow showed good work quality. We conducted this research during our NNAU Field Day, where around 500 visitors became familiarized with implements work”.

In general, DINAR-6,4 is applied for complete and inter-row tillage of various grain and cultivated crops, and also vegetables on all types of soil. The implement is highly reliable due to the special frame construction, made of special shape, rotary casted stars and tines spring fastening. The frame high height allows to cultivate through high seedlings without their damage.

At the end of July DUCAT GOLD-6 disc harrow has successfully passed the first round of tests on NNAU fields. The implement worked on stubble remains after grain crops harvesting, and as the university specialists point out, it showed good results.

“The reliable working tools of DUCAT GOLD-6 cope with the heavy load, the implement demonstrates the uniform mixing of soil and stubble remains at the minimum depth (5 cm) as well as maximum (20 cm). Despite the big amount if organic mass, the working tools aren’t clogged”, – Nikolay Karpenko tells.

He also specifies that the second round of DUCAT GOLD – 6 tests is planned for the midst of August after maize harvesting. 

After the tests, documentation correction and production preparation, DUCAT GOLD heavy disc harrow with working width 6 m is to be mass-produced. The farmers will be able to purchase it in autumn.
