HARP enters the East Asian market

Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) is going to present its products in East Asia for the first time at China International Bearing Industry Exhibition 2018, which will be held in Shanghai (China) on September, 19-22.
HARP will be presenting reliable, maintenance-free spare parts for agricultural, automotive and general industries, as well as innovative series of products for railways.
“China International Bearing Industry Exhibition will became a new platform for promotion of the Kharkiv bearings in China and Asia-Pacific Region”, – says Vice President Sales and Marketing Roman Girshfeld.
In his opinion, taking part in this exhibition will expand the export potential of the plant and allow to launch new investment projects, creating new opportunities for establishing and developing business relationships with Chinese partners.
“HARP has been a part of the world bearing community for a long time, – points out Roman Girshfeld. – Our innovative solutions have been awarded twice (in 2012 and 2014) a status of World Premiere at the largest railway industry exhibition InnoTrans (Berlin, Germany). Last year at the largest agricultural exhibition AGRITECHNICA-2017 (Hanover, Germany) HARP was the only representative of the Ukrainian bearing industry. Innovative products for efficient farming were highly appreciated by European dealers and manufacturers of agricultural machinery, as a result – a number of contracts for suppliers to EU have been signed”.
Quality and reliability of HARP products are proven by time. More than 70 years the plant supplies bearings and units to the world market and for decades it is keeping to be a reliable supplier of spare parts to such big agricultural manufacturers as Rostselmash, Klever, MTZ, Gomselmash, Salford, Metalagro. HARP bearings are chosen by a number of leading metallurgical and mining companies such as Arcelor Mittal, Metinvest, Metalloinvest.

The big park of modern CNC-equipment and powerful R&D center enables plant to develop and put into production more than 100 modifications of bearings annually, and to strengthen HARP’s positions on Ukrainian and European markets, to expand sales geography.
“Currently the share of export it total sales is amounted to 60%, – says Roman Girshfeld. – HARP products are highly demanded in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. There is an active sales increasing in Egypt, Pakistan. We are planning to enter the Turkish market. We are holding the leading position on the CIS market due to supplies to the largest OEMs of agricultural, automotive and railway engineering”.
Participation in China International Bearing Industry Exhibition is planned within the presentation tour Discover HARP aiming to demonstrate capacities of Ukrainian manufacturer with 70 years of experience to the world community.
