International Field Day LOZOVA MACHINERY: innovative format

On July, 26 the event, has become a tradition for the fourth year running, gathered together at one demonstration area over 700 specialists of the agrarian sector from Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Poltava, Sumy and other regions of Ukraine, and also farmers from Baltic states and Europe.

The highlight of the annual Field Day LOZOVA MACHINERY is a large-scale demonstration of the full range of tillage and drill agricultural implements in work in order to give the farmer the opportunity to assure themselves in their efficiency and reliability. 

In particular, 10 disc harrows DUCAT with working width 2,5 m, 3m, 5m, 6m, 12m, and also 2 heavy disc harrows DUCAT GOLD with working width 6 and 8 m were presented in work. The farmers were able to estimate the implements work in comparison with foreign analogs, providing soil tillage on a level with LOZOVA MACHINERY disc harrows and assured themselves that the domestically produced machinery can successfully compete with world analogs such as Lemken, Väderstad.

By the way, it isn’t the first time, when LOZOVA MACHINERY implements show work and tillage results, which aren’t worse than the leading world producers. At Field Days of Nikolaev National Agrarian University (NNAU) the test sample of DUCAT GOLD-6 heavy disc harrow showed the tillage results on a level with analog implement of German company. “At Field Day NNAU we run the competition between the novelty by LOZOVA MACHINERY and the analog heavyweight AMAZONE. DUCAT GOLD-6 disc harrow showed itself worth, being not worth than world analog according to effectiveness and reliability. The durable working tools of DUCAT GOLD-6 cope with heavy load, the implement demonstrates the uniform mixing of the soil and stubble remains at the minimal depth (5 cm) as well as at maximum (20 cm). Despite the plenty of organic mass, the working tools aren’t clogged”, – Nikolay Karpenko, head of scientific and research department of Science Institute of Innovative Technologies of NNAU, tells.

DUCAT GOLD - 6 represents a continuation of the line of heavy disc harrows and has no world analogs according to its parameters.

It is worth noting that since 2018 the system of changeable rollers is implemented in the entire line of disc harrows DUCAT - both short hoeing plough and heavy implements. Depending on exploitation conditions, agriculture type, and climatic zone, the farmers can choose the necessary type from five modifications – tooth, rubber, pack ring, U-shaped, standard cage rollers. 

 “Durability, adaptation for work in heavy conditions and the possibility of rollers configuration choosing can satisfy every farmer needs”, – Roman Girshfeld, Vice President Sales and Marketing, pointed out according to the demo-showing results.

Then the visitors of the event clearly saw the work of subsoilers GULDEN and FRANC, cultivator SHILLING. These implements were also changed and improved.

Thus, the updated subsoilers GULDEN and FRANC can henceforth be equipped with support wheels and wearproof working tools HARD-SHELLТМ. As for SCHILLING cultivator, the main innovation is the equipping with rubber support wheels, which increased the implements passability and reliability.

The design of ZLATNIK no-till seed drill was changed. Today the unit is available with the drill mechanism electric drive, fan hydraulic drive and system of quick uploading. Deep modernization of the unit allows to increase productivity due to automated control of the exact seeding process at the highest level.

Another example of the innovative format of technology on the Field Day was demonstrated by the modified two-axial trailer ALBION-26. Today the implement is supplemented with an unloading screw and side-extended boards. This technical solution makes it possible to use the trailer as a dump semi-trailer and as a powerful reloader. The unit is capable to upload 20 tons in 2.5 minutes and provides a reduction in freight costs and time spent on cargo operations, an increase in the turnover of transported goods and their security for cargo transportation. 

ALBION-26 provides increased efficiency, time savings and increased productivity. Today we are continuing to work on expanding our English line of trailers and will soon introduce not less unique novelty - a combined multipurpose grain trailer”, – Roman Girshfeld announced.

At Field Day, the farmers were able to assure themselves in the design advantages of multifunctional domestically produced implements, purchasing which the farmers are compensated for a quarter of their cost. The whole line of LOZOVA MACHINERY products participates in the state program of 25% compensation, allowing farmers to save money by updating the machine and tractor fleet.

Traditionally, Field Day organizers took charge of making the stay at the event not only useful but also comfortable. The rich entertainment program with the performance of the musical team Banderas BLUES BAND, original photo-zones and delicious food provided Bright emotions and impressions.

LOZOVA MACHINERY provided recreation and entertainment zone for children. Small guests were pleased with foods and creative master classes, accompanied by professional animators.

At the end of Field Day, SHILLING stubble cultivator was traditionally disposed. The happy owner of multifunctional implement for seedbed and postseeding preparation was Konstantin Pashnev from Bliznyuki village, Kharkov Region.

Field Day LOZOVA MACHINERY was held at the peak and became a kind of equator for the Greentour demonstration tour, within which LOZOVA MACHINERY visited 10 out of 20 planned world countries. As a result, the company successfully entered new markets - Germany, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Georgia, and Armenia. Ahead - 10 more countries and the conquest of new continents. On September 11-13 LOZOVA MACHINERY  will become the only Ukrainian company that will demonstrate the achievements of Ukrainian agricultural engineering at the largest exhibition of the North American continent - Canada's Outdoor Farm Show.
