The Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) signed a cooperation agreement with the leading metallurgical company and world steel producer ArcelorMittal, whose Ukrainian representative office and industrial presence is in Krivoy Rog.
According to the contract concluded in April 2017, HARP supplies general industrial bearings to ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih PJSCfor repair-related needs of production facilities. At the moment, the first deliveries have already been made.
«ArcelorMittal Kryvoy Rog PJSC is a part of the international corporation ArcelorMittal, which occupies leading positions in the main metallurgical markets of the world», – notes Vitaliy Bugrov, UPEC-Trading, Director of Bearing Sales. – «ArcelorMittal has offices in 60 countries and industrial presence in 19 countries. Since we are already an authorized supplier of ArcelorMittal in the Ukrainian region, we have the opportunity to supply our products to the corporation's overseas enterprises».
At the moment, HARP is establishing cooperation with the ArcelorMittal representative offices in Kazakhstan, Poland and Romania.
«To date, we have received a tender offer from the Kazakh representative office. The logistics side of the issue is in the phase of development due to the absence of the direct way of bearing products delivery to Kazakhstan. In addition, we begin cooperation with ArcelorMittal in Romania through our operating dealer in the country. In the near future a meeting with ArcelorMittal in Poland is planned», – adds the Director of Sales.
Shop-manufactured general industrial purpose bearings, in which effective seals are applied and the working surface is manufactured with increased accuracy, are distinguished by their high quality and reliability. The products of the Kharkov Bearing Plant comply the requirements of the international standards of the quality management system ISO 9001, ISO / TS 16949 and the requirements for the environmental management system ISO 14001.
«There is an increase in the turnover of bearings of general industrial use. This direction is promising, and now the profit from sales in this product segment is growing. We are entering new overseas markets, where there is a demand for our bearings that comply international standards. The conclusion of an agreement with one of the world leaders in the metallurgical industry is not only a significant step in the development of the HARP enterprise, but also confirmation of the high quality of innovative products, as well as the effective organization of production processes», – sums upVitaliy Bugrov.
The Kharkov Bearing Plant increases production volumes, develops new types of products, expands the geography of supplies, which in turn is positively displayed at the rate of export growth. Today, HARP products are successfully sold in the markets of Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Moldova and other countries of Europe, Asia and the CIS.
