LOZOVA MACHINERY has successfully completed the autumn test series of the DUCAT-6 disc harrow, which goes on sale next year.
The tests took place in the fields of PhKh "Terezino" (Kiev region). As a result the machine has shown excellent results: the endurance of working tools, fuel economy, high speed, quality of soil treatment.
During the autumn series of works DUCAT-6 has operated 1300 hectares. The average, fuel consumption when cultivating corn was 5,7 l/ha, sunflower – 5,5 l/ha, wheat – about 6 l/ha, when operating on the grass after the hay – from 6,3 to 6,5 l/ha. Despite the stated speed of 17 km/h the DUCAT-6 has shown the operating speed of to 20 km/h.
Thus, the new machine can significantly reduce the time and costs for cultivation of each hectare. Experts of "Terezino" noted that DUCAT-6 is superior to machines of many world manufacturers of agricultural machinery by its technical and economic indicators.
DUCAT-6 logically supplements the line of LOZOVA MACHINERY disc harrows. The machine is suitable for tractors from 170 hp. The assembly includes 50 discs with diameter of 566 mm. The design and position of working tools provide high-quality seedbed preparation. The unit intensively mixes the soil and the crop, refines and distributes straw. Due to the high strength and tightness of the HARP AGRO UNIT bearing units the harrow shows the maximum resistance to severe operating conditions.
