The UPEC IG Automotive Division and HARP Russian dealers summed up the results of a year

On December 20, 2016 representatives of the UPEC IG Automotive Division have discussed and summed up the results of a year with Russian dealers of Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP).

The event was attended by heads and representatives of the largest Russian suppliers of bearing products, among them: Rolex (Tomsk), Corund (Moscow), Soyuz Podshipnik (Moscow), Inveks (Yekaterinburg), Berg-Engineering (Ufa), 2B Sphere (Moscow). Partners summed up and noted the achievements of joint work in 2016 and outlined plans and objectives for 2017.

During the meeting representatives of the Automotive Division noted a significant increase in purchase of HARP products by the dealer network customers. In comparison with 2015 the volume of supplies to the Russian market has increased by 1,6 times. The proportion of supplies to the Russian manufacturers on the primary market amounted to 45%, distributor companies – 55%. The ball bearings hold a leading position in realization in the Russian Federation. In 2017 it is also expected ramp-up in sales due to current growth of demand for bearing products on the Russian market. Dealers are interested in realization of HARP high-quality products, which are based on energy-efficient innovative solutions.

Head of Sales Department (Ukraine and CIS) of the UPEC TRADING Elena Slavina noted that the dealer network in Russia has expanded by 2,6 times, and supplies to CIS countries have also increased – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova. ”For more effective realization of the HARP products there has been established promotion system, which is based on the implementation of new commercial policy and design standards for dealer outlets. The marketing plan includes actions on enhancing the HARP brand awareness through active participation in exhibitions, development and implementation of motivation programs and training of dealers personnel as well as promotion in the Internet including social networks”, - says Elena Slavina.

Among the achievements in 2016 there was highlighted the development of new types of products: bearings of Y-series (YAR, YET, YEL), 106 modifications of bearing units for agricultural machinery.

Representatives of the Automotive Division invited dealers to visit the HARP and learn about scientific, technical and industrial potential of the enterprise.

Russian dealers in their turn noted that the HARP products meet their needs – they are competitive and have a good quality, and the cooperation is satisfactory in general – prompt responses to inquiries, timely shipment of goods.

At the end of the meeting dealers were awarded with certificates and gifts.
