ANATOLII GIRSHFELD WILL BECOME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE OF UKRAINE

On October 11, 2016 the Government of Ukraine adopted the resolution on establishment of the National Industrial Development Committee, Deputy Head and Executive Director of which will become the People's Deputy, member of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, Honorary President of the UPEC Industrial Group Anatoliy Girshfeld. The Committee will be headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman.

"The Committee was established for solving the accumulated problems in the domestic industry and for transition from low-technology model to export-oriented high-tech economy based on knowledge and innovations, which will allow the country to have completely different socio-economic indicators", – said in his speech Anatoliy Girshfeld.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman said that the Government has been working on establishment of Committee for a few months. The team of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine headed by the First Vice-Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv with involved Industrialists, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, researchers acquired the appropriate solutions which will allow creating an efficient mechanism of revival of the Ukrainian industry.

"One of the objectives is creation of high-tech export-oriented product, competitive not only in domestic but also in the foreign market. The Committee should become a real mechanism for diagnosing problems of the national industry. The Parliament, the Government, the President, the Committee – we will develop all the necessary decisions for changes in the existing system," – said Vladimir Groysman.

Also there was agreed to establish the post of Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade on Industry and Department which will provide support in coordinating the development of the industry. In addition, in the Advisory Council there will be involved the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, representatives of Association of trade unions, the real sector and science.
