BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE QUALITY ASSESSMENT, HARP IS CLASSIFIED AS A GOOD SUPPLIER OF SCHAEFFLER GROUP

The Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) as an approved component supplier of the world leading bearing manufacturer Schaeffler Group (Germany) based on the evaluation findings under Quality Agreement is classified as a good supplier. Thus, the Ukrainian enterprise has received a positive assessment of performance and can further supply products to the holding companies.

«Following the results of cooperation between January 1 and June 30, 2017, the Schaeffler Group, in accordance with the quality agreement, assessed HARP as an approved supplier by the following criteria: compliance with the terms, scope of supply and logistics conditions. Based on the results of this assessment, HARP is recognized as a good quality supplier. At the same time, we plan to introduce a number of improvements that will help reach an even higher level in the framework of joint cooperation», – said Roman Girshfeld, UPEC IG Vice-President for Marketing and Sales.

We remind that the General Cooperation Agreement, according to which HARP can supply components of bearing products to all Schaeffler Group enterprises, was concluded in February 2016, and the first batch was delivered to one of the Schaeffler Group plants in Debrecen, Hungary.

At the moment, HARP not only maintains, but also continues to develop and improve long-term relationships with the world's bearing manufacturer Schaeffler Group.

«We have successfully mastered the production of a new product line for the HARP, such as tapered roller rings for the automotive industry and received approval from the Schaeffler Group. Currently, we are continuing to work on expanding the range, increasing production volumes, and establishing cooperation with other plants of the corporation», – said Vladimir Kokhanov, HARP General Director.
