NCREASED SALES OF LOZOVA MACHINERY IN MOLDOVA AS A RESULT OF THE MOLDAGROTECH EXHIBITION

Following the results of participation of the LOZOVA MACHINERY together with the dealer Carvidon Service SRL in the largest international exhibition in Eastern Europe – MOLDAGROTECH-2017 (March 15-18, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova), there is an increase of sales of energy-efficient tillage equipment in Moldova.

"The LIRA tooth harrows keep leading positions in the Republic of Moldova. During the exhibition there have been concluded contracts for the sale of three spring-tooth harrows, including the exhibited unit – LIRA-15. In addition, several agrarians interested in purchasing the complex for applying liquid mineral fertilizers and plant protection agents REAL. There is also an increasing demand for DUCAT disc harrows, – says Marina Kameneva, Head of Sales for Eastern Europe, adding that for the period from the beginning of 2017 to the present (January-March), the total sales volumes of LOZOVA MACHINERY in Moldova exceeded sales volumes of 2016.

The growing interest in the energy-efficient LOZOVA MACHINERY units is explained by the refusal of Moldovan agrarians to plow, with transfer from the nonmoldboard cultivation and plowing to modern technologies, in particular, the minimal (mini-till), zero (no-till) ones, etc. 

The LIRA tooth harrows remove the weeds in "white thread" stage, without damaging the crop plants, destroy the surface crust, which encourages the entry of nitrogen into the soil, thereby improving the organic composition of the soil, while simultaneously saving the moisture.

The DUCAT disc harrows, which provide seedbed preparation and intensive mixing of the soil and plants (stubbling) with penetration into the soil of up to 12 cm, also facilitate the restoration of the fertile soil layer. Thus, evenly distributed crop residues save the soil fertility.

It is important that due to its design (absence of the disc batteries with a single axle), the DUCAT can work in relatively wet conditions in fields with a large amount of plant mass, eliminating the blockage of the interdisc space and wrapping of the plant residues on the disc axle due to the vibrations of working tools in three planes.

"The agrarians of Moldova have already appraised the advantages of the LIRA tooth harrows. We are planning to increase the supplies of these units not only on the Republic’s territory and we are confident of their relevance. In addition, together with our dealers in the Republic of Moldova, we have started active promotion of the DUCAT disc harrows, as well as other energy-efficient units, which are capable to increase yields and save the fertility of soils", concludes Marina Kameneva.
